Live stock without extra work
Items carry their unit (pcs, kg, ltr, box, strip and more), HSN, GST rate, MRP and reorder level. Sales at the counter and on invoices reduce stock as they happen; purchase bills add it back. Wastage and adjustments are recorded with a reason, so the history explains every change.

Open the stock sheet, walk the shelf and type what you see. MudraERP shows the difference against the books for each item and posts it as a recount when you save. Filter to one category or to fresh items only for a quick nightly count.

Fresh stock every morning
Sweets, snacks and bakery items made each day can be marked “made fresh daily”. The day opening adds today’s batch and either writes off or keeps yesterday’s leftover in one go, so the counter starts the day with true numbers.

USB and Bluetooth scanners work like a keyboard, and the phone camera can scan too. Unknown retail barcodes can fill in the name.

Questions people ask
Does stock update automatically when I sell?
Yes. Every counter bill and invoice takes stock out as it is saved, and cancelling a bill puts it back. Purchase bills add stock.
Can I count stock and correct the numbers?
Yes. The stock sheet lists your items with the expected quantity. Enter what you counted and MudraERP posts the differences as recounts, so the history shows when and why stock changed.
Does it track batch numbers and expiry dates?
Not as separate batches yet. Today each item has one stock figure with its MRP, HSN, GST rate and reorder level. If you need batch-wise expiry for medicines, ask us about it before you start.
Can I import my existing item list?
Yes. Upload an Excel or CSV file; MudraERP matches the columns, shows a preview with any problems marked, and adds the items with their opening stock.
Does it support multiple godowns or branches?
Not yet. Stock is kept for one location per business today. A chain can run each branch as its own business on one login; talk to us about the Enterprise plan.
