Billing software for auto parts and accessories shops
A spares counter is searched by part number as often as by name: “BP-1023-F, front brake pads for this model”. MudraERP puts the part code in the item and in search, so the right pad comes up whichever way the mechanic asks.

Questions from auto parts owners
Can I search by part number?
Yes. Put the part number in the item code and search finds it, along with the name and barcode.
Can I keep a vehicle-wise parts catalogue?
Not as a vehicle catalogue. Most shops put the make and model in the item name or category so search narrows it down.
Does it track warranty on batteries?
Note the serial number and warranty period in the bill line. Warranty claims are not tracked as a separate register.
Which GST rates does MudraERP set up for an auto parts business?
The Auto parts setup offers 18%, with new items starting at 18% and prices including GST. Motor-vehicle parts, tyres and lead-acid batteries moved from 28% to 18% under GST 2.0; lubricants are 18%. These are starting points: confirm the rate for each item with your CA.
